Luv City alias Kenichirou Yamanaka was born in 1966 in Japan. At the age of 10 he started editing animation songs and J-Pops by mono-cassette tape recorder. At the age of 17 he made his first steps in the music-biz as technician at a cable radio station in Tokyo, where he get in touch with over 50.000 records (Pop,Disco, Soul, Jazz, Rock,etc.) Short time later he started deejaying and editing disco music. 1986 Ken moved to New York and went to all the famous clubs like the Palladium, Paradise Garage, 70West and so on, where his passion for the music developed more. Back in Japan he deejayed in over 30 of the country's best clubs like Hippofellow, Genesis, Akira, etc. After this experience he went to the USA again, where he was playing sets at Kiss FM and WHCR Harlem Radio only 3 month later. 1999 he finally moved back to Japan and started producing own songs with the help of friends under the name 'Luv City'. 2004 his talent was discovered and signed by Harley & Muscle. The album 'Dream on' contains 13 songs and wants to animate you not only to dream. Luv City begin the journey with the Ambient Mix of Aurora, After that it goes into the depth of 'Keep it up' and 'New City', at latest after the title track 'Dream on' you shouldn't stop dreaming.The deep, warm and definite sexy (Altitude) basslines, strings and sounds will take you to unknown spheres and proves impressivly that even in far away japan true house music is excisting.
