After their first joint venture crystallized in the form of a remix by Toni for one of Oliver's tracks, Berliner Toni Dextor releases his first full EP on Adroit Recordings, with Deutschmann on remix duties.
‚Complex' spells trouble from the get go: heavy drums, a dynamic, straightforward bassline and a simple yet effective melody captivate instantly, showcasing Toni's ability to produce dancefloor anthems. 'Type X' follows in the same vein, albeit a bit on the more restrained side. It unfolds confidently into another heavy hitter perfect for peak time. 'Type A', on the other hand, offers a more explorative groove, firmly set atop a winding bassline and armed with similarly weighty drums. Oliver Deutschmann takes on 'Type X', adding more suspense via brooding pads and razor-sharp cymbal crashes, making for a less aggressive yet still compelling arrangement.
