Vlsonn's debut release "Chamo and Honey EP" moves through today's electronic dance music genres seamlessly, taking influence from 90's house, 80's electro, dubstep and hiphop. Each song on the ep vibes differently from the last, offering a variety of sounds from start to finish. "Ballantines's Terror" opens the ep mixing breakbeats with dubstep undertones. "Floor Rat" is a throw back house jam with elements of acid house, driven by a powerful 909 kick. "Barfly" switches it up nicely with a half time stepping beat, deep bass and twinkling lead melody. Title track "Chamo and Honey" moves through slick beat changes alongside a warm filtered pad and dark pitch bent melodies. The release also features remixes of "Chamo and Honey" by Blue Neptune who conjures up a deep house fix as well as TapeDeckBros who take you on a thumping club house trip.
