The band core members are Luca "Presence" Carini aka William Bones (electric bass), Antonio "Totemio" Bocchino (drums & percussions), Louis De Belle (keyboards & trumpet), Floriano "Maj" Bocchino (electric piano), featuring appearances of more guest musicians. 291out project is an open formation of musicians who present original compositions ranging from jazz & funk to prog & psychedelic rock with a fusion approach surrounded by electronic suggestions. The name is inspired by Stieglitz's Dadaist magazine at the beginning of Twentieth Century doing homage to that free ironic and creative move made of contamination refusing reason and logic of pre-established genres. Constantly on the look out for unexpected influences, they highlight an experimental sound character connected to the video art, a cinematic aptitude coming from their professional activity as composers of soundtracks for AV productions. Some of that incidental music has recently been discovered by independent record labels of the contemporary electronic scene.
