  • Description After a hot string of releases on labels such as on My Favorite Robot and Little Helpers, DJ/Producer Lomez turns in what may be his most exciting work to date: "Babylon Awaits You" is a new 4-track EP, where he collaborates with two different heavyweight artists. For the first two productions on the EP, he teams up with longtime Circoloco resident Andrew Grant. Grant regularly performs alongside artists such as Jamie Jones & Kerri Chandler when representing the Circoloco brand worldwide. "Real People" starts off the EP with a hypnotic groove that builds into an exotic arrangement, taking the listener on a journey up to the deep, spacey vocals of Lomez. An Electronic Space Oddity. "Linda Linda" features a retro disco groove infused with an hands in the air funk drop. Francois K meets Tanner Ross. For the second pair of tracks, Lomez partners with Phillip Charles (of DJ Three's Hallucination Limited). "Trouble Tree" is a dark club banger with twisted acid lines and a seductive low end. It also features Lomez on vocals, this time leaning towards a Matthew Dear influence. The last track on the EP takes the vibe even deeper with ethereal synths and and a piano hook; which has been said to have had Damian Lazarus out on the dancefloor losing himself at Circoloco Detroit in 2012.
