Prior to it's original release back in the summer of 2004, the now seminal K90 classic 'A.X.I.S' had been on the verge of, as Mark put's it 'being binned' after he'd struggled to find a top line to fit with the original piano riff he'd written some six months prior. Fast forward 14 years and A.X.I.S remains one of K90's most beloved tracks and is actually Mark's own self proclaimed favourite from what is a vast catalogue. So where do you start with trying to bring a modern take to a track which to some should remain sacred and left untouched? You choose the right musical mechanics for the job and Mark has assembled just that with a combination of experience and raw talent to fit with his own 2018 Rework. After his breathtaking rendition of another K90 classic 'Deliverance' back in 2014, Mark had no hesitation bringing back Lee Osborne to the Dataless family in the knowledge that he would be able to take care of such a precious project as this, and what a job he has done. Rounding off the package in equally sublime fashion and stemming from a chance meeting in an airport check-in que in Ibiza back in 2017, Chris Torrence a.k.a Torro deliverers a slightly different but no less beautiful take on a track which has once again proved it's own immortal status.
