Digital exclusive release. First release culled from San Francisco's Brock Van Wey's (aka BVDUB) debut album on echospace. Brock has appeared on a numerous labels in the past few years, from Styrax, his own Quietus imprint to Southern Outpost and were quite pleased to have some of his most personal and emotional work here on echospace. This is slow-moving, ponderous music which reminds us of the magical moments captured by Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno or Steve Roach. Light ambient soundscapes, and seducing dream like strings take center stage as they start intersecting with various other found sounds and vocals which sound so far stretched in the horizon you may as well be listening from the other side of the grand canyon. Mood and melody take center stage here which create the perfect light atmosphere you will simply fall in love with on a dark and rainy day, in the right mind set. A spin of this exploration is like witnessing the birth of the cosmos, I could hear this playing while sailing through the stars. Features a re-work by Intrusion (Stephen Hitchell of Echospace) who dives even further into deep space exploration.
