Mateo aka Nøvek, was born in Mar del Plata(Argentina) where he started his musical career in 2019. He was searching and exploring different musical styles until he found his sound identity in the underground scene. Novek's sound is nourished by a sonic flexibility, allowing him to oscillate and merge elements and characteristics of Techno (Raw/Deep/Hypnotic) and Minimal, without being limited or encased in a single genre. Both in his dj sets and productions, he is characterized by hypnotic atmospheres, solid grooves and psychedelic textures, using his sound as a means to propose a journey from introspection to collective connection on the dancefloor through listening and dancing, as he considers music and sounds as a powerful way of liberation and transformation, beyond the recreational.
