DJ Rikx grew up with beats and grooves as a child of the "electronic" 80s. At the age of 12, he started collecting his first vinyls and CDs to organize one private party after another at home. At the age of 16, the small home parties made way for the real work in various dance cafes and parties such as Sax in Bree, De Stal in Tongerlo, Bergse Fieste in Neeroeteren, 18-year-old parties, My Way Party in As and several others ( private) parties. He also took part in various DJ competitions, resulting in several final places. In between DJs he traveled all over the country from one club to another. There he built up his network among organizers, resulting in DJ sets at Delite in Halen, Illusion, Reflex Mainhall,
