Mexico City-based Obie Fernandez has been rocking crowds as a DJ since he got his first set of turntables at 14 years old, first as a local resident jock in New York City and later in Atlanta, Georgia where he helped launch UNITY Events.PKD (named after Phillip K. Dick) is Obie’s producer alias for tech and uplifting trance. PKD tracks are hard-hitting and tell a story with intelligence, spirituality and imagination so often lacking in today’s mainstream culture.
