For as long as she can remember, Annegret Fiedler has crafted electronic melodies to soundtrack her daydreams. Inspired by New Wave and Post-Punk, she became Perel - a producer, vocalist, and DJ known for her genre-blending sound and captivating presence. Perel was the first German artist signed to James Murphy’s DFA Records, and has since performed globally, from packed techno clubs to major festivals. Raised in Saxony, she learned to write and produce music inspired by Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, and The Cure. After moving to Berlin, she immersed herself in the underground club scene, releasing solo work on labels like Running Back, Uncanny Valley, Kompakt, and Permanent Vacation.
