Monsieur Philippe

Ungovernable and disobedient, Juan Felipe has devoted his time in the studio to cultivate his alias, Monsieur Philippe. In this process, he has been honing his sound, characterized by a harmony of chaos and structure. He is a producer, sound designer, mastering engineer, and new media artist. Felipe grew up between Cali and Medellin, Colombia, and as a teenager he understood music as a clarinetist. Monsieur Philippe makes Deconstructed club music that maintains a perpetual motion - a fusion of psychedelic, dystopian, and experimental sound design, syncopated or swinging grooves, unexpected dissonances and magnetic low ends.
