Born in Toronto Canada, Conrad Nowak a.k.a. Conrad (CA) emerged from the cities underground house scene in 2011. In his earlier years his musical preference was strictly classic 90’s hip-hop. The rolling 808 drums and melodic current became the stepping-stone for his conception, comprehension, and more importantly passion for electronic music. Looking up to and influenced both professionally and personally by such artists as The Junkies, Chris Larsen, Nathan Barato and Carlo Lio, he was exposed to a variety of styles of electronic music and sank his teeth into the Deep Tech resonance.Having the opportunity to begin performing live DJ sets at the legendary Comfort Zone, Conrad’s crunching claps, engulfing baselines and groovy vocals were soon easily distinguishable in a flooded city of sounds.
