Descendant from Porto, Portugal, Raul de Almeida started listening to electronic music after Radiohead's album Kid A. He was always influenced by Pink Floyd, The Beatles and The Doors. When Richie Hawtin dropped his boiler Room in Amsterdam Raul was already producing, but not techno, that set gave the man the click. Influenced by guys like Hawtin, Matador, Dubfire, Gaiser, Joran Van Pol and Joop Junior he claims to be a minus addicted. Right now he is moving up the ladder of techno music with fresh releases in Pure Beat, City Music, Minihard, Perfection Recordings, Reducing Form and Portuguese label Unsigned. His latest EP called "Feather" was supported by guys like Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna and Richie Hawtin, along with a awesome remix by label boss of City Music Raul Facio.
