The "What" EP kicks off with a driven, hyped up track entitled "Rollin'" featuring insistent tripped out vocal cuts from BrumTown Rapper, Big Dog Yogo. It's a unique and abstract take on dancefloor orientated 8 bar grime which immediately sets a hard tone and descends into a hectic stomper. "$ick" continues the sub lead speaker assault, incorporating stuttered brass stabs with swampy, almost jump up style basslines and a trapped out lead synth. Shifting between a lazy half-step groove and a frantic garage switch up that expresses their musical foundations. The heavy low end sound progresses but the atmosphere changes course for the final two, starting with "Virtual Environment" a smooth dubbed out roller that transcends into a broken steppy futuristic vibe, this one speaks for itself. Final track "Make Me" draws inspiration from cutting edge electronic R'n'B with plenty of 2 step swing and smooth melodies, not forgetting the breath taking sub bass that aims directly for the chest. Fusing floaty liquid pads with lurky dripping wet synth bass sounds that change the mood dramatically as the track evolves while still maintaining the serene, catchy flow.
