Based in Liverpool, Splitt Recordings is helmed by local artist Company Is Family and plans to deliver high-end house and dub-techno. Their debut release is from Saytek, the former Zoo Project resident whose high-octane live performances at the likes of Space Ibiza, London's fabric and Berlin's Tresor have won him numerous nominations as Best Live Act in DJ Mag's Best of British Awards. When not releasing on the likes of Kevin Saunderon's KMS, Wiggle, My Favourite Robot, Soma and Monique Musique, Keevill's 'Live On Cubism' album series has garnered critical acclaim across the web as well as glowing reviews in DJ Mag and FAZE Magazin.
'Josh's Jungle' is a percussive affair that takes things tribal with its rolling rhythms, squelching acid and fuzzy bassline. A darker production comes in the form of 'Panphoria' as it employs a rumbling low-end, industrial stabs and tantalising atmospherics, before 'Got To Have It' takes matters down a dubby path with space echoes and sullen vocal murmurs added into the equation.
