The first release by Kris Vicious 9 on Rough Luxury is a hip hop chant song in the vein of a Fatman Scoop meets Maroon 5. Its a party starter and a party heighten-er track. From its signature sax line to the rhythmic guitars over a brittle heavy beat to being some what angelic at times it should keep the bodies running to the dance floors. The Bristol Stomp version is a funky stripped down mix with pounding subs moving massive amounts of air, whether its on the dance floor or from the a boomin' car system. The Redux mix has a heavy presence in the sub bass and as an audible illusion seems to start playing backwards in the middle of the song.
The Mars mix have driving rhythm guitars reminiscence of Chic and Maroon 5's Move Like Jagger but at a hip hop speed. It contain the signature alto sax line that adds the frosting to this audible good time treat along with the easy lyrics- "We('re) New Yorkin(g) The Club" - which refers to partying like they do in the hot clubs of NYC.
