After a busy year of stellar events, Regression Sessions returns with a scorching new EP from JammHot featuring a remix from James Dexter. The first, in what will be a quick succession of releases to come from the label in early 2018.
Having released on Kerri Chandler's, Madhouse Records and the DJ staple, Morris Audio, the Leeds / London based duo owes their sound to differing backgrounds and influences, creating their own heady blend of house that's rich in musicality and sense of adventure, yet aimed towards the dancefloor.
Love Critique, a flavourful touch on tech-house, serves as the wavy lead track for the EP with its heavy, analogue bassline and pitch modulated key stabs to gear you into the peak of the party. Golden flips the disc, bringing a starry disco-house blend to the table - a romantic wind down to the affair.
On the remix, Inermu head-honcho, James Dexter serves up a blend of 'Love Critique' that caters to the 'heads-down', as opposed to the 'hands-up' type. A minimal, quality-over-quantity, approach that invites emphasis and prominence to otherwise subtle elements in a club track - solid dance music material.
JammHot's Love Critique EP will be released on the 5th February, 2018.
