B. Ames is one of the names that you have probably heard especially if you're into the underground ballroom or drag scene. B's music has been played on TV shows and commercials for LOGO TV. B. Ames is a producer, vocalist, writer, remixer and drag queen DJ! Creating their own brand and sound with underground ballroom vogue tracks mixed with pop and club beats. B is affiliated with Tony Quattro & Doctor Jeep with their song 'Fourth & Seek'. Also being associated by doing remixes with MikeQ (Qween Beat) and has done remixes for Amanda Lepore, Cherie Lily, Shangela, The Ones, Latrice Royale, Manila Luzon, Zebra Katz and more!
B was introduced into the queer underground ballroom scene and was inspired immediately by the art of vogue and the ballroom. Growing up as a young queer finding hope and inspiration from RuPaul, Kevin Aviance, Erickatoure Aviance, and other NYC nightlife legends. Later on around the age of 18, B began posting remixes and original tracks on YouTube and later begin to develop an online family of fellow creators. B also devolved makeup skills and began to post looks online as well as music on YouTube. That's how MikeQ first contacted B. Ames and that's how B joined Qween Beat! Around this time, RuPual's Drag Race first started airing and B would take audio clips from the show and develop them into a full song with a beat around the track just for fun! Fellow queens from the show began seeing talent in B and asked B to do remixes and original productions.
B moved to NYC in 2013 and started going to the underground parties and fell in love with the scene and begin doing looks with their crew. That same year B was regularly DJing at their own party called 'The Fantasy' at a bar in Brooklyn called TNT! B now resides between Lafayette, Louisiana and Houston, Texas. B.Ames DJ'd for the first time in Houston in 2017 For Mystic Stylz party called 'Trust Me Daddy' B. later on released their first official albums (among a few mixtapes) called 'BMA' and in January 2018 released the Deluxe Edition! B is currently working on new projects and aspires to have visuals made and to keep creating more music. Pump It Hard on the dancefloor.
