E.M.M.A. LAUNCHES PASTEL PRISM LABEL WITH FIRST SINGLE 'LIBERTY'
Music taken from short film 'Liberty' directed by Sophie Davies
LONDON ? UK: London-based electronic producer E.M.M.A. has launched her own label, Pastel Prism (www.pastelprism.com) with the cinematic single ?Liberty,? music taken from the short film of the same name directed by Sophie Davies (www.sophieproductions.com)
Fresh from soundtracking a worldwide Gucci jewellery campaign in May and following plethora of strong releases via Coyote Records and Astral Plane, the launch of her label coincides with E.M.M.A.'s interest in writing music to accompany visuals; something which regular fans will not be surprised by due to the story telling nature of her colourful productions.
This is the second time she has collaborated with Sophie Davies, the first time being for her track ?Light Years.?
E.M.M.A. said: ?Pastel Prism really encapsulates the word 'Liberty.' As soon as I finished music for this film project, which is about truth, freedom and nature, I knew I wanted to self release it.
"It's a departure from some of my recent releases in the sense that it's not club driven or populated with 808s, but the 'mood' will be familiar, and there's some new textures too.
?I'll be releasing other artists on the label further down the line, which is an exciting prospect.?
