One of the UK House pioneers Rhythmatic first graced our ears with Krush's legendary House Arrest slope out of the murky undergrowth after a lengthy sabbatical only occasionally peaking from behind the musical shubbery to remix hand chosen cuts from their favorite label Mutate Records (dur! obviously!).

First up is the Rhythmatic original on a chimed up house tip with spattering of warehouse tech and moreish rubber band basslines. rich basslines and spacious drop outs make the track, with the occasional well positioned bitcrunch to garnish. A serious workout for any set of speakers.

Unique 3 step up to the remix platter, with their own distinct Yorkshire Bleep sound, plenty of squelch in the mix based around a 4 to the floor groove with enough rich synth action to knock a grow man flat!... Grizzled up bass pushes its way rudely into the mix, with nuff wup wup, blip blips and psssssst's throughout, all working the mix in tight synchronization, traveling at 130 bpm progressively towards a typical U3 tweak out then promptly back into the bass quake measuring 7.4 on the electro Richter Scale.

Mutate's man in the America's Travino turns up uninvited with with a white label CD containing a remix to quite literally peel your face... Bass from start to finish, stickered up with abrupt health warnings for the faint of heart and aged. Like a bassline chopping board finely diced and thrown into the mix, workout out the bass like Jane Fonda used to work out ay mammas ass back in '75. Once the intro is over its time for the main event pure acid house stabs, arpeggiators and a rinse out of epic proportions... Is it techno, is it breaks...? Frankly Mutate dont care, it big bad bass from Canada, definitely not suitable for hen nights and wedding disco.

Last but not least is the one they call Cakeboy, who crafts a fine percussive breakbeat groover around what could only be described as the perfect frequency of bass, prepare yourself to knock out a few Woah! noises every now and again, this be serious!
