LB Party touch down at Modern Dance Records. "In order for you to see clearly the artists behind the sound, first you must shed your hindrances of perception. You can hear them, but only through speakers, and see them only on screen. So transcend yourself, assimilate into the digital and reconfigure as a voyeur in the production room. Two guys, dudes if you will, eyes glazed in artistic meditation, heads bobbing to the bassline, fingers dictating the drums. And in these dudes you will find habits unorthodox; nocturnal, malnourished, either over or under dressed, and a calling from our ancestors that tells them the primordial beats must be brought so the masses may continue the dance of life. You change your focus, you appear behind them, seeing as they see: a screen laden with patterns in a format which strains your eyes. You realize they have a vision, they are able to see sounds, and your imagination wanders; wondering if they may even be able to taste colors, hear scents, feel tastes! When I listen to LB party I hear a synesthetic passion dictating the post-modern state of inadequacy, the reason our generation Y has been christened Generation WHY, and I find answers to the age old questions of life which cannot be written but only felt. I find in these two men hope for our future, hope for our peers, and hope for humanity."
