Komisch hits 20 with the second release on the label from Bleaching Agent.
Having recently sent his Blacknecks collaboration into early retirement, this UK producer is now focusing his considerable talents on this solo project . We're delighted that he has chosen to put out more material on Komisch
'Colo' starts the release with a dense, stepping rhythm and the sound of someone gasping for breath as percussive ticks lend the arrangement some impetus.
When it breaks into those unmistakably murky synths, it feels like Bleaching Agent has unleashed malevolent spirits from the otherworld.
US producer, who has released on L.I.E.S and Cititrax under a number of names, provides a remix of 'Colo'. He's only the second ever artist to remix a Komisch release and his version rolls to the sound of tough drums and puts the focus firmly on that eerie, wintry synth.
The final track 'Elastique' sees Bleaching Agent delve again into a murky world, inhabited by grungy beats and waves of noise - but it remains rooted on the dance floor thanks to the razor sharp percussion that slips like a garrotte around an unsuspecting victim's neck.
These are dark and deadly tracks from techno's underbelly!
