FVF is back with a solid techno collaboration release from Milan's Stefano Lotti and Tokyo's Akira Kobayashi aka AKR with guest remixers (and FVF regulars) Attemporal. This is a special release in that we have our first full music video which you can see here: http://youtu.be/V2WcSQOP2cQ
Stefano is involved in various labels as an owner, label manager, A&R and producer. He runs his own imprint Rubber Band, he is label manager of Soundpark and runs new label Equilibrium Lab alongside Luca Fabiani. Stefano's dedication and talent have seen him release and work with the likes of Guti, Mihalis Safras, Luciano Esse, Santos, Alex Dolby and many more.
AKR is resident in Tokyo's famous WOMB club and has been working with Stefano since 2009 releasing on Rubber Band and more recently on Human Garden Music. We welcome both to the fold here.
Time Distortion kicks things off: big, groove-laden, percussive and rewarding, certainly one for peak play and maybe more. Trash Saver is full to the brim with pulsing bass and hats - lovely effects and synth drive through right to the end. Mr Brackman brings a relentless bass interspersed with stabs, snares hats and weirded-out synth lines.
Attemporal have recently been played out by Ben Klock and their own imprint ATT is doing the business. Their next release sees them collaborate with Rebekah and it sounds ace. Here they bring the darkness with their remix of Time Distortion: ominous heavy bass, clean hats and sinister building effects - one for the sub junkies!
Given the analogue master treatment once more by the gents at Manmade Mastering, Berlin.
