Brandon Darby produces his beats in the urban heart of Manchester, UK with influences ranging from Rock, Synth-Pop & Techno performed by bands such as Depeche Mode, Patrick Cowley, Pure X, Linea Aspera, Hante, Lebanon Hanover, Bobby O, Part Time, John Maus & Durutti Column. Inspiration came from the early electronic pioneers Kraftwerk & Klaus Schulze , the 70s & the 80s eras of music & finally the post-disco scene of the late 70s - mid 80s. Brandon is a true genre flexing enigma. Currently in 2019 he is involved in two musical groups; Duo Mundi & REAVE, with Duo Mundi releasing their first single this year to great success, featuring on BBC's introducing radio show. REAVE, on the other hand, have an album of beautiful Queen inspired synth-pop in the making, set to be released in the next year. Alongside these side projects, Brandon spends most of his time writing, producing & mixing his own music in his home studio, which consists of various hardware synths and software plugins. The latest release of Brandon's is the Half-Awake EP, released on FWMusic, this label debut combines his mixture of influences into a somewhat funky, danceable & rough style of instrumental music.
