Cologne's very own Moses Mehdi delivers to us an amazingly sophisticated, top-quality production. Mehdi has artfully twisted elements from the original to create this beautifully orchestrated reconstruction. Off-centered rhythms and tight timing elevate this high-energy remix to the solid-production category. Multiple layers of lush, pitched synths carry this track into another dimension of drive, and unite it onto a tight tech-groove that will slam through a big system!
Irish house-heavyweight Olly Davis is a man who knows how to shake a dance floor. Subsequently, it came as no surprise to us when he brought this impressive remix to the table. Olly's adaptation ignites an energy that is next level. A body-shaking groove and thick percussive hits are woven together to create this swinging and pumping tech-house track.
The next remix comes from Melbourne-based James Winter, who has adapted 'Section Sector' to deliver a slamming house rendition. Coupled with a fresh, rolling bassline introduced early in this piece, you feel Winter's knowledge of house music grooves shine through. Groovy, crunchy hi-hat rhythms indicative of a crisp percussive house track. Winter's use of the original's emotive synth chords shape the direction whilst keeping the melodic structure intact, making this a dancefloor weapon of club-worthy standard.
Another bomb of a remix was dropped to us by one of Melbourne's up and coming producers, Mad Lucas. We hear the original heavily transformed and on a trajectory straight for the deep-end. A slamming, punchy bassline-groove hypnotizes the listener, whilst the melodic stab reconstruction arises through the use of a variety of trippy and eloquent rhythms. Chord stabs, delayed vocal chops and emotive strings unite together beautifully to create a rising energy and uplifting listening experience. We sense festival vibes from this one!
