'Siberian Mirror', the forthcoming EP from Ose, is due on 28th April 2017 via Open Channel and Fin-A-Dee Six (Harald Grosskopf / Standard Planets / Iain Sinclair), as a limited 12" and download. It contains four low-slung techno grooves. Bass-lines throb below veils of sonic fog whilst melodic impulses erode in the hiss and air of tape-delay.
It follows from 2015 Ose debut 'VERB', which found its way into the record bag of rising London DJ / promoter DEBONAIR, who played it in her 2016 Bloc Festival set. Ose has also found airtime on NTS Radio and at various underground parties with Liquid Amber, Re:sound and HTBXLDN promoter/DJ, Douglas Brennan.
Behind Ose is producer Ewan Fisher. Ewan is also co-founder of Open Channel, a collective who promote experimental audio-visual nights in London. His lo-fi, restriction-based approach to sound design, combined with his love for leftfield club sounds, instil his tracks both with a weight and space aimed at the dance floor, as well as a level of detail and sonic lushness suited for deep headphone appreciation.
