Dig A Deep Hole, the debut single from Kingston, Jamaica based electronic music producer Redselecter (Christopher Edmonds), is a tech house jam with a funky twist to it. Imagine Green Velvet going back in time and resurrecting D.H.S. and Hope A.D. and you've got the Original Mix, while the Dig Deep Dub slows it down to a minimal deep house groove perfect for those twilight hours. Redselecter is also one-half of production duo Stereo Massive, whose recent track with Congorock and Sean Paul entitled "Bless Di Nation" will be released on Ultra and Atlantic records in mid 2012. Dig A Deep Hole is the first release on Brand New Machine, the label arm of Steven 'Urchin' Wilson's event and lifestyle brand. Wilson's weekly parties in New York and Jamaica are cross-cultural can't miss events and are the regular haunt of many celebrities, including Jay-Z, Diplo, Mena Suvari, Bob Sinclar, Daniel Bedingfield, Toddla T, Shaggy, 12th Planet and Congorock. Wilson is also well known as the manager of Jamaican superstar Sean Paul and the heavy-hitting reggae rock band Rootz Underground.
