Devin Deveaux started collecting records at age four (with some help from mom) and composing music at age seven. He sang, played guitar, bass and saxophone in various bands from age eight into his 20s. Early influences include disco, hip-hop, rock, new wave, punk, funk, punk-funk, 80s film scores, electro, italo, and especially synth pop and boogie. Devin started djing at age 17, and producing house music at age 21 under the guidance of renowned DJ/producer Ian Carey. His first production was picked up by now-defunct Formaldehyd Records (Germany), followed by releases on Elan Records (USA) and Black Vinyl Records (UK). His early releases received great reviews in the press, and were played by DJs such as Dave Clarke, Jon Sa Trincha and Ali B to name a few, garnering play on Radio 1 and many nightclubs in Ibiza. After a hiatus, he is back in the studio churning out new material. His latest EP features three tracks ranging from slo-mo disco to peak-time neon disco house, available soon on Enzo Ponzios label Black Magic Records (Italy).
