Even though Shushu & Vebe Suprada have met in an underground parisian club, what brought them together was actually their love for emotional pop music. After months of work, they are finally ready to present their vision of the latest to the world.
Le Jardin de l'Infante is a singular take on what use to be called teenage rock, incorporating elements of hip-hop and pop into a record that was made with the intent to immerse the listener into their early years. It is an ode to the carefree moments everyone of us had when we were younger.
The first thing that comes in mind when listening to it is the naivety brought out by all the candid melodies, whether they are sung by Shushu or played by Vebe. Though, when getting deeper into the record, this apparent candour turns out to be nothing but a smoke screen.
In fact, it quickly appears that by making this record, they are both trying to convince themselves of their own innocence, whereas it has already completely faded out and they cannot do anything about it.
