STEPEP grew up in the 90s in Munich and was mostly influenced by the usual suspects of the time like Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, or Nine Inch Nails. As electronic music became more popular in the 90s, Artists like Sven Väth, Westbam, and Monika Kruse started to influence his perception of what was possible with music. Ever since, he enjoyed mixing records on his Technics 1210 and to this day, he is still a passionate vinyl collector. You can hear those influences in his productions that are blending sounds from classic, deep and tech house to soul and Garage and take on a style of their own to create his own unique sound.
