Hengst is a The Hague based DJ and producer with an almost obsessive love for techno and progressive house. Listening and analyzing music from his favorite artists like Jean Michel Jarre, DJ Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and Joris Voorn, Hengst has sculptured his own sound to what it is today; Techno full of innovative and lush synths, combined with deep and driving basslines and hypnotic repetitive percussion on top. Music should be about escaping from reality for a little while. Having a fantastic feeling and getting sucked into an electronic dreamscape. Powerfull and refreshing at the same time.
