Felippe Mela

Felippe Mela started his musical career as a DJ at nightclubs in Greece, while – at the same time – his nerdier alter ego was attending university and studying molecular biology and genetics. Felippe made his first attempts to produce electronic music in the mid 2000’s when he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, to pursue his PhD studies. He started off with Reason, then briefly tested Cubase, but finally settled for Logic Pro when he moved to New York for his postdoc studies. However, lacking a musical education, Felippe found it hard to turn his ideas into professional sounding tunes.
