“Music expresses what cannot be said, and what it is impossible to keep silent about.” This quote from French writer Victor Hugo captures what has always driven Cary Crank: the search for a language rich and nuanced enough to express what moves him most deeply. From an early age, Cary knew that music was his voice. Growing up in Frankfurt, Germany, he witnessed the birth of techno firsthand and immersed himself fully in its evolving soundscapes. With roots in rock guitar and early electronic experimentation, he eventually found his true artistic home in the world of Progressive House and Melodic Techno. Since 2018, Cary has released music on acclaimed labels such as Univack, Mango Alley, and Steyoyoke Black, as well as on his own imprints Sunexplosion and Cranking Sounds. His
