Abear grew up playing guitar, but was heavily influenced by electronic dance music. Surrounded by a lively club scene with DJ’s spinning house, trance, and breakbeats. It was just a matter of time until he took an interest in mixing and producing music with his own unique style. After 6 influential years in New Orleans, surrounded by Jazz, Blues, and world music, Abear cultivated skills in music theory and arrangement. Incorporating the piano and synthesizer over compelling rhythms and basslines, he fuses organic and electronic elements to create otherworldly textures that tickle the soul.
