KYZN

KYZN is a Canadian music producer based in Toronto. The name KYZN derives from the Japanese term Kaizen, meaning continuous self improvement. The artist themselves are constantly learning, working and bettering themselves personally and as a musician. For the listener, the artist creates music that motivates, drives and energizes listeners to achieve their best self. KYZN performs anonymously, wearing a cyber-cat mask. The symbol for the cat comes from Egyptian mythology, specifically paying homage to the goddess Bastet. The robotic elements are there to fit with the style of music that KYZN makes and because it’s “pretty effen cool”. So far, the artist has released their first single titled, “Archetype”. Released on December 29, 2023, the track is a hybrid of mid-tempo dance and tear-out with hard hitting kicks, a
