Deeplomat

Hi, it’s Max here. DEEPLOMAT is my musical project, born out of a love for 20s electronic music, synthesisers, afrobeat, and live percussion. The name DEEPLOMAT references my mom who dreamed of me pursuing a career in diplomacy (yes, I studied that for 7 years), but since I was young, I had my own dream of making music, so the alias DEEPLOMAT is a tribute to my mother for the effort she put into me. Basically, though, I just love making intelligent dance music. I'm in total love with DAWless production and live performances. 80% of my music is made outside of the computer. As Confucius said, 'find a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life.'
