Ziggy Gee fell into the underground Scottish party scene in 2006, playing at outdoor parties and raves all over the country. In 2008 he moved indoors and started up club PlasidK, infamous for taking the audience from the funky beats of house to the darker sides of techno. PlasidK explored all aspects of electronic dance music inspired by the freaky funky souls who called the club their own. In 2009 Ziggy Gee teamed up with dj & producer Junior Lazarou, Disuko was born. Throwing down some of the filthiest house, dubstep and drum&bass, every night is bass bin carnage with massive drops and driving basslines.Ziggy Gee has been building up a reputation as a producer, with one of his tracks getting a mix doctor review in The January 2011 Best of British edition of DJMag. Summer of 2010 saw the creation of his own label, Bootyshake Records, an indie label dedicated to spitting out material to have crowds pulling some twisted shapes on the dance floor. With over 40 tracks available for release on all major download sites, keep an eye on this music junkie.2012 has been a big year for Ziggy Gee so far, playing in all the major cities in and around Scotland. He has played along side some ripping acts such as, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Hostage, Billy Nasty, Bassline Smith, The Ragga Twins, Taz Buckfaster and Sydney Sampson to name a few.
