World Gang

World Gang is a musical organization established in 2006 by Modest Mouse Drummer Jeremiah Green and Plastiq Phantom's Darrin Wiener, two enterprising veterans from the realms of arts and sciences. Its mission is simple and open- ended: to engage in unique collaborations with like-minded individuals and organizations by sharing skill sets and resources, and tapping the limitless potential of cloud thinking to generate new ideas and applications. Beside releasing music on malleable formats, recent World Gang projects include T he New America Short film by Nando Costa, a score for ROBBIE MADDISON'S AIR.CRAFT, and the installation piece Sound Camp, a musical tipi fashioned from tape loops. Specialists in organic electronic music, World Gang has just released a new single, "Mechanic the Mushroom," that will be available in the near future
