Hailing from the historic plains of Québec City, Canada, the duo “TheClaw” burst onto the house scene in 2024 with an impressive lineup of releases. They have become known for their releases on the legendary vinyl-focused label Howl Records, Dublin-based Ray Collect Records & the German imprint Solardish Records amongst others. TheClaw's style can be summarized as live blues guitar riffs, funky electric basslines & old school house keys mixed in with chunky drum-machines & live sampling. This creates a truly unique sound in the House music world, that not many have ventured trying before. This mesh of live instruments is present in their live sets, as they mix live guitar & bass with drum machines & synths paired with a traditional club DJ rig.
