SYcroz&Ton[E]

Tony Kammerer stands as an individual behind the artist synonym since 1995. The artist name rejects the symbiosis between the person himself and his alter ego. Production takes place in Steinmauern, a small suburb of Rastatt and not far from Karlsruhe, on the edge of the Black Forest, Germany. The enthusiasm for making music began with an Amiga 500 and Protracker as software, which enabled the simultaneous playback of 4 sound elements :) After buying a Yamaha SY-85 in 1996 (which is still in use and also named after "SYcroz" ) the internal hardware sequencer was used for a while, until everything was controlled and programmed with an Atarai 1040STF and Notator as a sequencer program. Sometime around 2002 the system was replaced by a PC and Steinberg's Cubase has been used
