Svendsania

Rune Svendsen known as Svendsania had his first experience writing music in the early ‘90s. The world of sounds and music became accessible to him through early home computers like the Commodore 64 and the Amiga. He was active in the so-called demoscene, where young people created music video-like presentations called ‘demos’. Today this movement is UNESCO heritage listed in Germany and Finland, calling for a general acceptance and understanding of digital cultures. Rune did the music for two highly rated demos by Norwegian group Spaceballs, “State of the art” and “Nine fingers”. Further Rune developed a passion for house- and techno during the explosion of electronic dance music in the ‘90s.
