After getting his first turntable aged 5, Ben Brown became fascinated by music. The love of hearing different sounds became more interactive in 1989 when he got a Commodore Amiga 500 and apart from the obligatory game playing, came tracker software and Octamed. Being able to use samples and synths to create something new seemed like the perfect way to spend time and having a friend who was far more competent (Jomarkho) was a massive help. Not long after this, a local DJ loaned his technics decks and mixer to JoMarko and this transformed Ben’s future.
