Born in Kyiv and based in Toronto, Sashy is a DJ and music producer whose lifelong passion for sound and creativity has guided her across continents and genres. A classically trained pianist and songwriter, she even rapped as a teenager in an all-female band before moving to the United States for university and eventually settling in Canada. Since relocating to Toronto in 2007, Sashy has immersed herself in the city’s vibrant electronic music scene. Music has remained her anchor through every chapter - from cross-continent moves to motherhood. During the isolation of her maternity leave in the pandemic, she rediscovered her creative spark and pursued her dream of becoming a DJ.
