I began mixing in the early 80’s, at the same time as the hip hop movement arrived and I discovered Herbie Hancock and his “Rock it”, Grandmaster Flash, Sugar Hill Gang... In addition, i also played funk and disco music at birthday parties, weddings, which eventually led me to animate Sunday afternoon parties at local clubs. That’s how I became a Dj at the age of 16.I professionalized myself later, in 1989, only first in small places, by the sea in the south of France, near Perpignan. The "Synchro" was a very small private club close to the sea, very precursor which welcomed its clients from 2am and used to end very late ...between 9 and 11am.Thereafter, for years, I used to play in other places during summer seasons, and then at the “Playa", the club of Argelès Plage's Casino.I selected Pop, Rock, Reggae, but also the first House and Dance Music tracks (De La Soul, Deelight, Lil Louis, Technotronic, Raze...).At the end of 1992, I left Perpignan “La Catalane” for Paris, studied in a Radio Network School. The Week End I listen to Radio Nova’s show that gave info about new evening called « Rave ».I realised at that time DJ’s profession was changing, and for many of us it was a revelation!I remember the “Soma’s” party was fun, but above all great musical discoveries (Xpress, Underworld, Leftfield...).In 1997 I moved to Toulouse. The Pink City danced on Techno for almost a decade, but less on House Music.I found a warm welcome, an attentive and curious audience. Bars, restaurants, clubs, and evening events gave me their confidence (Le Classico, L’Ambassade, Le Bikini, L’Ailleurs...)I played Latin house, Deep House, and House “French Touch” of course !In early 2000, some gigs in various clubs in Paris (La Fabrique, Le Queen, Le Pulp), in Spain (Le Rachdingue, Sa Trinxa Ibiza) and other evening events up to 2013. Over 30 years of mixing, I have developed an approachable and underground style, inspired by bases from my musical « colour » called « Nu Disco ».
