R.O.M. began his musical journey as a teenager, playing rhythm guitar in a rock and roll band. Over the years, his passion for music grew as he explored a wide range of genres, from Reggae and Rock to Hard Rock and Country. However, it wasn’t until he discovered electronic music later in life that his true musical direction became clear. He first ventured into electronic music production in 2014-2015, but it was after moving to Medellin in 2018 that his dedication truly flourished. He developed a deep love for the minimalistic and raw rhythms of techno—specifically raw techno, melodic/progressive techno, and hard groove techno. After attending several underground techno parties, especially those with a European influence, his musical taste solidified. Today, his sound is defined by the raw, driving energy
