Please use Robert Vadney. This one was set up twice
At the tender age of 22, Composer/Songwriter/Remixer/Dj/Vocalist, Robert is already a phenomenon. A self-taught musician, Robert first realized his appetite for music production as early as ten years old. After spending a few years dabbling in various music genres – producing and remixing Hip-Hop to Funky House - with notable successes such as 'Room 5 - Make Luv', 'Blaze - Most Precious Love' and many more, Vadney needed a new direction, and in 2004, turned to Trance, which was always his love.
Since then, he has embarked on a relentless crusade to revolutionize the sound of Trance, as we know it – a crusade that led to him being crowned the unofficial king of underground Trance. To further cement his newly found status, he was invited to Guest DJ with Tiesto at his 'In Search of Sunrise' 2005 Greece Tour, where he (RV) premiered his new "Trance-Fusion" sound - to an appreciative 2.500 strong crowd, where Robby found he was on the right track.
But rather than rest on his laurels, Vadney took time out to hone his unique sound, and the finished product is nothing short of amazing. His much sought after remixes such as 'Him - Wings Of A Butterfly', 'Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song' and 'Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc' have earned critical praise from both Underground and Mainstream audiences and media, but it's his own original productions that continue to astound - which is the reason why he was Reviewed numerous times on globally known Club & Music magazine 'Mixmag', before he was even signed.
In Summer 2006, Vadney teamed up with Chicago's ODU (Overdrive Underground), became a Resident DJ, with his known monthly 'The Flight' show, as well as the Production Director of the station. Afterwards, Vadney unleashed his underground smash 'World On Mute' – featuring Di Bauer, on audiences across the globe and his follow up 'Second Sky' is phenomenal.
After being discovered thru Beatport’s Sarah McLaughlin First Noel remix contest by: Angel F one of the owners of Chicago’s fastest growing dance music labels Direct Drive Digital. It was at that point Robert was really introduced to the masses. Robert Vadney is ready to take the world of Dance by storm, but most importantly, Robert Vadney now has a vehicle of support (including Nat Monday, Paul Oakenfold, to mention a couple), to continue his groundbreaking journey into Dance Music. We at Direct Drive Digital are proud to be associated with such an incredible talent, and even more happier and excited that the world is about to discover such a wonderful, devoted and hardworking artist.
