Raphasosyk

Raised in Harare, Zimbabwe Raphasosyk spent much of his teen years experimenting with soulful MoTown samples while making hip hop beats for his friends. Following a move to South Africa, within the underground world of house music is where he truly found himself at home. His major musical influences are the prolific Atjazz, Osunlade and Karizma. This led him to pursuing a career in DJing and over time he decided to venture into the realm of house music creation. Currently based in Cape Town, his passion and love of Afrika run rampant as evidenced by the signature deep afro tinged sound of his music. For him, music is a spiritual thing.
