Purgatory (CA)

Purgatory is defined as “a place or state of suffering inhabited by the souls of sinners who are expiating their sins before going to heaven.” and you can see this in Purgatory’s music with the darker songs reflecting the state of suffering and the melodic, reaching heaven. Originally starting out in the Dubstep scene in 2009 in Toronto under the name THAT GUY, he quickly gained a reputation. In 2013 he moved to Whistler BC and found himself with 3 residencies, one of them being the biggest house music night. This was where his love for house music was born. 4 years later he moved back to Toronto and spent some time working on producing his own music. Shortly after, Purgatory was born.
