Phil St George

Composer and producer of electronic music, Phil St George draws his inspiration from architecture and contemporary art. He structures his compositions with the rigour of an architect, builds his rhythms with the precision of a sculptor, and chooses his sounds with the sensitivity of a painter. He has developed a fascination for the unusual places where he regularly performs, immersing himself in the singular soul of each place. After studying musicology, mathematics and computer science, he began his career as a jazz guitarist and singer. He then turned to electronic music, collaborating with musicians of various styles, visual artists and, more recently, theatre directors.
